Books Inc. in Alameda CA will be hosting an event at its store titled Surf Meets Turf, a portion of the proceeds during this event will go to Board Rescue, so mark your calendars for May 20th from 7-9PM and check their Facebook page for updates.

Conversations with Authors # 15 Surf Meets Turf
Join us this month as we surf and peel the waves on the inside of every skateboard landscape. Join us for a conversation supported by Thrasher Magazine, authors Daniel Duane (Caught Inside) and Jaimal Yogis (Saltwater Buddha: A Surfers Quest to Find Zen on the Sea) who will join us to read from and to discuss their adventures on the big waves. And the pioneers and local legends surfing and skateboarding in Alameda! A special Surf and Skateboard Art Exhibit will be on display featuring the designs of local tattoo artists and designers.
